London replaces tube ads with cats

Imagine a commuting experience with no ads claiming your attention from all sides. Well, now your dream can come true – at least partly and provided you love cats.

C.A.T.S. – the Citizens Advertising Takeover Service, managed to crowdfund an entire campaign to replace existing ads in the Clapham Common tube station in London with pictures of cats. The idea behind it is to give people a break from the regular visual charge that ads bring to a crowded subway station and replace it with cute images of cats.

There’s also a noble goal behind the campaign. As they mention on their website, many of the cats that are in these images are available for adoption. If you live in the UK and want a new furry friend, head over to Cats Protection.
